Review: Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water

Micellar waters have been quite popular for a few years now, and it was only when they finally made their way into the drugstore that I decided to buy one, mainly because the others were just a bit too pricey for me. As I have been using the Garnier micellar water for a little over a month now, I thought it was time that I reviewed it for you guys.
Essentially a micellar water is just a magic water that breaks down your makeup and removes it all easily. It's supposed to be better for your skin than using makeup wipes, and can be used just to refresh your face if you don't need a heavy duty cleanser. This product is pretty much the same thing as Bioderma, but a fraction of the price. I honestly love everything about this product. It breaks my makeup down so well and so easily, has no perfume in it so doesn't irritate my skin or eyes, it hasn't caused me to break out more either, and can we please just talk about the packaging. I am in love! It's incredible value for money, and you get a decent amount of product - 400mls. I use this on a large cotton pad before I actually cleanse my face at night and am a total cleansing water convert. If you're on the hunt for a micellar water I definitely recommend this one, as it's suitable for all skin types. It does everything it's supposed to do, and leaves your skin feeling a lot cleaner and ready to go. Good job Garnier!

You can buy this from places such as Priceline, Kmart, Big W, Coles and so on, and it retails for about $11.99

Monday Stuff #5

It's been a little while since I last did a 'stuff' post, so I thought it was well overdue. I decided to have a little pamper evening tonight and these were a few products that made an appearance. I love that the weather is getting colder as it means baths are actually possible without overheating, so I expect I'll be having a lot more pamper evenings from here on in. Don't forget to leave me a comment of some of your pamper evening favourites for me to try out.
Re-Gen Cream
This is one of my skincare staples of the night time, but one that I do love dearly, and even more so now that it's getting colder and my skin needs a bit more hydration through the night. I use this to help with scarring/pigmentation and blemishes and I do like it quite a bit.

Soap & Glory Flake Away Body Polish
I recently bought this and it was love at first sight. Using this feels so heavenly and it smells lovely and leaves my skin feeling so nourished. I can already tell it's going to be a firm favourite and I can't wait to try more from Soap & Glory in the future.

Burt's Bees Beeswax Lip Balm with vitamin e & peppermint
I actually got this in my Bellabox this morning (and a video of my Bellabox unboxing will go up on my YouTube channel here in a few days time) so was eager to try it straight away. So far, so good. I like the peppermint in it because it makes my lips tingle, and it feels really moisturising which is exactly what you would expect from Burt's Bees!

I Love...Strawberries & Milkshake Bubble Bath
No pamper evening is complete without a bubble bath, and this was another recent purchase that I was wanting to try out. It smells so sweet and lovely, makes a decent amount of bubbles, and leaves the water feeling soft on my skin and smelling divine. Definitely impressed with this treat!
SIDE NOTE: I have recently started uploading videos again on my YouTube channel which makes me very excited and very happy, so be sure to go and subscribe if you want to because I will actually be using it and uploading regularly this time. Your support would be much appreciated, thanks lovelies. You can click here to subscribe!

The Face Mask Round-Up

In all honesty, who doesn't love a good face mask? Face masks are such a wonderful thing, and should be done two to three times a week as part of your skincare regime. In this post I thought I would share some of my face masks that I love with you guys. Be sure to recommend your favourites to me as well in the comments below.
Natio Clay and Plant Face Mask Purifier
This face mask smells quite botanical and is really runny upon application, so take care when squeezing it out - I had to learn the hard way! Though it does dry quite fast and isn't impossible to work with. Once dry it has a clay like look and feel to it. I wouldn't say it has drastically changed my life, but I do enjoy using it, and I do feel as though it works. It's relatively inexpensive and easy to get a hold of.
The Body Shop Tea Tree Face Mask
I have been using this every week for about 8 months now, and I still have so much product left, so it is well worth the money (not that it's too expensive). Overtime I would say this has helped my breakouts and the overall appearance of my skin, and I couldn't bear to think of parting ways with it anytime soon. As this is a treatment mask it is recommended that you only use this once a week, and that's what I do. It definitely cools instantly and feels really refreshing.
Formula 10.0.6 Deep Down Detox Ultra-Cleansing Mud Mask
I've been using this on and off for probably almost a year now, and I do like it. I don't use it every single week, but rather every now and then as I prefer my Natio one. However, I do like to use this when I feel like my skin is really tired and dull as this helps to brighten it and awaken it. It has quite a strong smell, so be wary of that, but I think that helps to reawaken my senses.
Skin Vitals T-Purify Sheet Mask
I picked this up on a whim in Priceline one day as I absolutely adore sheet masks. Prior to buying it I had never heard of the brand before, but was pleasantly surprised with how well it worked. The cloth had a lot of moisture and product on it, which was good, and it was cooling on my skin. It did clarify my skin, but didn't do anything too drastic in terms of my blemishes. Overall it's not bad, but I'm not in a mad hurry to pick up some more.
