Thoughts On: Bellabox (March Box)

The month of new Bellabox packaging has finally arrived, and I could not be happier! Overall the old packaging wasn't awful, but there were definitely some shockers along the way. I am pleased to announce that all boxes are now sent out in the brand new (and beautiful) boxes, and will continue to do so from now on.
It's been about a month or so since I last did a 'thought's on' post for Bellabox, so I thought now was the perfect time to. This months theme was 'beauty diaries', and aims to be a sneak peek into some well-loved beauty experts diaries, and sharing their favourite products with us. So let's have a little look inside my box shall we...
Model Co Party Proof Cream Lipstick in Splendourful (full size) - RRP $16.95
The colour I got was a bright orange, and while I have no problem wearing orange lipstick, I have a feeling this particular shade is going to be a little bit harder to work with. Seems to be standard Model Co quality, nothing amazing, but nothing too awful either. I will definitely report back!

St Tropez Gradual Tan in Medium/Dark (sample size) - RRP $33.95
St Tropez is a tanning brand that everyone knows and loves - definitely falling into the cult product category. I've actually never tried anything from them before, so if I manage to pluck up the courage I'll definitely give it a go.

Dermalogica Clear Start Oil Clearing Matte Moisturizer (sample size) - RRP $27.50
This was my favourite thing that I received as I have been looking into the Clear Start range from Dermalogica for a little while now, particularly a cleanser and this moisturiser. To be able to test this out before spending my money on the full size makes me very happy.

Wotnot Facial Wipes for Oily/Sensitive Skin (sample size) - RRP $7.95
Facial wipes are pretty standard, but these sound really lovely. I'm actually going on a holiday to Queensland soon so these will definitely be coming with me!

Pantene Aqua Light Shampoo and Conditioner (sample size) - RRP $7.99 each
I often hear mixed reviews about Pantene's shampoos and whether they're actually good to use or not, but as I'll be travelling soon I'll just take these because their size is perfect. I should also say that they smell divine, so fresh and lovely. When I first opened my box I got a whiff of it and only thought lovely things.

Bonus: Natralus Pure Paw Paw Gel (sample sachet) - RRP $9.95
Ah, the dreaded sachets are back! I pretty much hate all sachets so this will go into my drawer with all my others, sorry.

And there we have it, another month of Bellabox done and dusted. I do hope that you guys find these posts helpful! Remember if there are any products that you'd like to see a more in-depth review of, just let me know in the comments below. If you're interested in subscribing to Bellabox it is $15 a month, and you can check out their website here. Hope you've all had a lovely day and have a fabulous rest of the week.

Recent Beauty Buys

Just recently I had a little splurge on beauty products that I've had my eye on for a while, and with many sales that have been around lately, I thought it was the perfect time. Plus, who doesn't love a little haul here and there to have a peek into some things I've bought?
Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water - $11.75 from Kmart
I've wanted to get my hands on this ever since I first saw Alix (I Covet Thee) with it a few months ago, and have been eagerly waiting for it to come to Australia. This is basically a cheaper version of the much loved Bioderma, and from reviews I've read, it pretty much works just as well. So far I've been absolutely loving it!
Rimmel Wake Me Up Foundation (103 True Ivory) & Rimmel Match Perfection Foundation (102 Light Nude) - $19.95 and $17.95 from Priceline
The Wake Me Up was a repurchase as I had run out of it and just needed it in my life again, while the Match Perfection was a new one that I have never used before but heard many, many good things about. I'm very excited to use it because if it's anything like Wake Me Up, I know that I'll love it.
Maybelline Fit Me Blush in Medium Pink - $14.95 from Priceline
I've been trying to expand my blush collection so thought I would give this one a go. I actually have never read any reviews on it or heard anyone talk about it, so I'm not too sure whether it's going to be good or not, but I'll be sure to let you know.
Revlon Super Lustrous Lipgloss in Berry Allure ($21.95), Revlon Colorburst Matte Balm in Standout ($21.95), Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in Sweetheart ($17.95 - I got this at Kmart in a sale basket for $5), and Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick in Cherries in the Snow ($21.95) - all from Priceline
As it is now Autumn I've begun to build up my berry lip products collection, and I absolutely adore all of these colours - they are seriously so beautiful! I have fallen in love with Revlon lip products big time.
O.P.I Nail Lacquer in Manicurist of Seville - $9.95 from Trade Secret
This is such an incredible autumn/winter colour, and my photo above is not doing it justice. It's such a pretty berry red/maroon colour that's a bit deeper and edgy, while still being classy and beautiful. I have finally popped my O.P.I cherry and could not be happier.

So that's all that I've picked up lately, be sure to let me know if you'd like a more in-depth review on anything. Hope you're all having a lovely week so far!

Think Pink | Trend Focus

I've never actually done a post like this before, but as I was flicking through the latest edition of The Daily Us by Sportsgirl, I was inspired to. They had a two-page spread at the end of the paper dedicated to beauty (my favourite!), and they were highlighting that the colour pink is currently on trend when it comes to all things beauty. I have actually started to really fall back in love with wearing pink products, so what better time to do this sort of post! I have decided to feature some of my favourite pink products with you guys. Girls, it's time to think pink...
Real Techniques Blush Brush
This brush is so soft and so beautiful to use. It is my go-to blush brush!

Topshop Nail Polish in High Voltage
I cannot get enough of this nail polish. Such amazing quality and such a beautiful shade of pink.

Essence Silky Touch Blush in Adorable
Nicely pigmented and very creamy and blend-able - all at such an affordable price.

The Body Shop Hand & Nail Cream in Japanese Cherry Blossom
This smells so beautiful and leaves my hands feeling so soft and so moisturised.

Sportsgirl Brushed Up! Kabuki Brush
This little brush is perfect for travelling or keeping in your handbag to touch up throughout the day.

Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure Nail Polish in I Pink I Can
Amazing quality and formula, stays on my nails for a good week or so. Plus it's such a pretty colour.

Calvin Klein One Shock Perfume
Such a fresh but sweet scent, perfect for everyday.

Lancome Juicy Tubes in Candy
Looks like fairy floss and tastes like candy! A very pretty and feminine colour.

Sportsgirl Pout About It! Lipstick in Pretty Please
A pink-nude shade which is perfect for an everyday classy look.

Model Co Fat Lash Volumising Mascara
This will make your lashes look incredible and in-turn open up your eyes and make you look so much fresher and more awake. Doesn't clump and doesn't move about your face.

Bourjois Colour Boost Glossy Finish Lipstick in Peach on the Beach
Peach totally counts as being a pink...right? This is a lovely product for adding that little bit extra to your look, without looking too done up.

Rimmel I Heart Lasting Finish Nail Polish in Hot Shot
You can never have too many pink nail polishes, and this is such a beautiful rich hot pink colour that will make you swoon.

Maybelline Baby Lips Colour in Rose Addict
I firmly believe every girl needs a rose coloured lip product in their collection. This one is so easy to wear and smells so yummy.

Colour Theory Blush in Dollhouse
No makeup collection is complete without a dolly pink blusher. This is my favourite one and will be perfect for the upcoming seasons!

Colour Theory Lipstick in Fuchsia Frenzy
This lipstick is beautifully pigmented, and can be worn lightly or heavily to give perfectly pink lips for whatever the occasion.
I really encourage you to pick up a copy of The Daily Us next time you're in Sportgirl, it's free and filled with some great stuff - including an article featuring 25 ways to survive the season, which is definitely worth a read. If you'd like a more in-depth review on any of the products mentioned feel free to leave me a comment letting me know. Now I'm off to paint my nails pink!

February Favourites

There's nothing better than finishing a month and reflecting on all the amazing products that you loved throughout it. Sadly, I only have a few to mention today, purely because I've stuck to these same ones as I just love them so much. There will hopefully be some more variety, makeup wise, in my life soon though!

Victoria's Secret Body Lotion in White Nectarine & Peony
This smells so lovely and fragrant and makes my skin feel lovely for the whole day. It's been my favourite thing to use whenever I need a bit of a pick-me-up during the week. Plus it contains lovely ingredients like aloe, oat and grapeseed. What could be better?

Pantene Pro-V Light Detangling Spray
I'm not a massive fan of Pantene shampoos, but I do really like this product. It just leaves my hair feeling soft and knot-free. It's a pretty straightforward product really, and it doubles as a leave-in conditioner which is good.

Calvin Klein One Shock Perfume
This scent is filled with such nostalgia and so many connotations for me, which is why I love it so much. I rediscovered it a few weeks ago, and I love wearing it because it makes me feel so happy and immediately takes me back to great memories.

Topshop Nail Polish in High Voltage
It's no secret that I love Topshop nail polishes, they are such incredible quality for their price. This colour has become my new obsession and I just love the way it looks on my nails.
Nars Eyeshadow Duo in Isolde
This was a pricey little product, but definitely well-worth the money. Nothing compares to the softness, blend-ability, and pigmentation of Nars eyeshadows. I'm a sucker for anything neutral, so this is my perfect go-to look.

Ecotools Mineral Concealer Brush
Although this is meant to be used for concealer, I've been using it to blend in my eyeshadow and loving the finish it gives. I just think it works really well and makes my eyeshadow look a million times better than before.

Colour Theory Blush in Dollhouse
As the cooler weather has slowly started to arrive, I've immediately whipped out my pink blush. This is perfect to use when you want that frosty cold rush of colour in your cheeks. I can already tell this will be a staple product for me over the next couple of months.

Model Co Fat Lash Volumising Mascara
I've spoken about this mascara before so I won't go into too much detail. Basically, it makes my lashes look lovely and alive and long. It totally wakens my eyes and brightens up my face and just makes me look awake and ready to take on the day.
